Hi there! It's me, Manuel.

Well, I think I still haven’t figured out what I'm gonna be when I grow up. Photography, apart from drinking a good beer, is one of my things. I like to learn new things all the time, but keep running out of time.

I studied management, but I never liked to wear fancy suits. I run a small digital agency with the help of my friends though. I usually attend my business meetings wearing shoes with different shoe laces.

About the photos

I'm a documentary photographer, who used to work as a photojournalist. I don't like to tell people where to stand or what to do, I prefer to keep the story theirs, not make it mine. 

I work only with the available natural light to preserve the authenticity of the captured moment. For this reason I also don’t use photo editing software to manipulate photos (remove objects, correct people etc.).

Equipment

Talks about photo gear are usually boring, but here’s the info for the curious ones: I shoot with Canon 5D camera series and use their prime lenses. More than 90% of shoots are done with 35 mm and 50 mm lens. When traveling I like to use 40 mm pancake lens or, even better, my phone.
